Hot Toys teases Hulk

Soon we have a Hulk.
If there’s one figure from the Hot Toys Avengers line I want, it’s the Hulk.

There’s much debate on whether he’ll have a rubber body or not.
According a recent interview by HK Figure Club with Howard Chan, Howard said Hulk is in progress, the body will not be fully rubber.
This still could mean the upper body and arms can be made of rubber.

Although looking fantastic, rubber has the tendency to fold ugly, ripple and tear with posing and wither over time. I would like my high-paying collectible to last longer than one year.
Time will tell.

The Amazing Spider-man teaser poster

Here’s the first official poster for Marc Webb‘s reboot of the Spider-man franchise, The Amazing Spider-Man. Hopefully the film won’t be a blockbuster drama. It’s looking like to be a darker film than the Sam Raimi trilogy. The tagline of “The untold story” suggest some sort of continuating. As though they don’t want to differentiate too much from the previous movies. Even the Spider-logo is somewhat the same. Hopefully it will be something new.

Starring Andrew Garfield, Rhys Ifans, Emma Stone, Denis Leary, Sally Field and Martin Sheen, The Amazing Spider-Man is set to hit theatres on July 3rd, 2012.

The Dark Knight Rises stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Marion Cotillard, Josh Pence, Nestor Carbonell, Michael Caine , and is set for a July 20, 2012 release date.

Nolan is a master of secrecy, so almost nothing is known about the plot. But we do know Bane breaks Batman’s back in the comics…

Hot Toys: Captain America teaser

This summer, Marvel Studios will be launching a highly anticipated superhero blockbuster Captain America: The First Avenger movie!

In line with the highly succesful releases of Iron Man and Thor, here comes the collectible of the next superhero Captain America, who is also one of the Avengers!

Hot Toys made the announcement already in december 2010, but now we got a sneak peak at the actual figure.
I expect the first promotion images very soon. So be ready to catch the shield from the red-white-blue Avenger before movie launches!

Just for the fun of it I cracked op the brightness and contrast a bit to see what’s behind the black parts.
