Just after the release of the IMAX poster for the Amazing Spider-man, Yahoo! Movies just released the theatrical poster. Nothing fancy and not giving a lot to look at, but I still like this poster.
The posters are the sameway meaningless as the posters were for Raimi’s Spider-man movies, but in an other colour scheme. So the fan-made poster a few days back wasn’t that far off…
Ik like the way Spider-man is stuck to the building. A very classic pose. Still I hope for more ‘designed’ poster featuring more cast to really differentiate itself from it’s previous movie incarnation.
What do you thing of it?
As I was hoping for, the new official The Amazing Spider-man poster are being released.
This is the IMAX verion for the International markets (from an US view).
I like the poster. Though saying nor showing anything about the movie, I like simpleness and the depth of field of a vey clear view of our new Spider-man within cobbweb. Although nothing Amazing yet, it could have been easily a teaser poster, it’s hasn’t deminished my anticipation for the new movie.
Starring Andrew Garfield, Rhys Ifans, Emma Stone, Denis Leary, Sally Field and Martin Sheen, The Amazing Spider-Man is set to hit theatres in the Netherlands on July 4rd, 2012.
The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents’ disappearance – leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr Curt Connors (Ifans), his father’s former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors’ alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.
It’s not all Avengers out there. Here the Japanese trailer for the Amazing Spider-man with new footage!
I am liking it even more than Raimi’s Spider-man interpretation of the character. And Spidey’s updated suit has grown on me. It really fits this modern version of the character.
